Presenter:

Dr. Anne Mingolelli is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who treats children and adolescents frequently in her practice. She graduated from the Northeastern University School of Nursing in 2016 with her DNP scholarly project focusing on reentry of students to school after psychiatric hospitalization.

Dr. Mingolelli was a school nurse for 15 years in Massachusetts and has a special interest in school nursing and in educating parents to work closely with school nurses. Anne also teaches at Regis College. She shared with us that she is seeing an increase in the rates of depression and anxiety in her patients and the rate of newly diagnosed young people is sky-rocketing. She is looking forward to discussing what she is seeing and also what school nurses are seeing so that we can address these needs most effectively.
