About Northeastern University’s School Health Academy (NEUSHA)
Northeastern University School Health Academy (NEUSHA) provides school health professionals engaging, professional learning opportunities that benefit the health, safety and achievement of all youth. NEUSHA supports school nurses and other school personnel in their efforts to provide evidence-based prevention and health management practices to an increasingly diverse, medically-complex student population. Initiated in July 2016, NEUSHA creates, implements, and evaluates the quality of its face-to-face and online continuing education based on school health provider needs assessments, expertise within the Northeastern University faculty and staff, and an Advisory Group. Located within the Northeastern University Bouvé College School of Nursing, NEUSHA collaborates with public health and educational institutions, healthcare delivery systems, and private organizations, such as the School Health Corporation.
Northeastern University School of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
