Natures Healing Path: Connecting to the Outdoors for the Health and Well-being of School Nurses and Schools

7 presenters Natures Healing Path

During the Coronavirus pandemic access to parks and nature has been more important than ever for children, families, schools, and school nurses.  Combining “physical distancing” and “being outside” are two key strategies to stop the spread of the virus, but what many don’t know is that being outdoors–in a park, a forest, a garden, or walking on the beach has significant therapeutic value for our well-being and mental health.  This webinar introduces participants to a wide range of benefits of being outdoors, gardening, and even finding green spaces in urban environments. This is a recorded webinar from September 24, 2020.
