Presenter:
Jordyn Hope, BSW (they/them) is a Munchausen by Proxy Abuse (MBPA) expert and survivor. They serve on the MBP Committee board through APSAC. They currently are an admin for Munchausen Support. They facilitate support groups for survivors of MBPA, recruit and manage volunteers, respond to emails offering resources and referrals to those impacted by MBPA, consult with professionals and family impacted by this abuse, complete record reviews, and they work 1:1 with those impacted by FDIS/MBPA. They have given over a dozen presentations around the US for professionals in varying disciplines looking at the process of reporting and treating MBPA with an emphasis on the victim/survivor.
Jordyn identifies as a non-binary, neuro-diverse, Iranian American that lives on the indigenous homelands of the Osage First Nations territory, known now by the colonizer name of St. Louis, Missouri.
