This training prepares school nurses to recognize red flags, document concerns, and take action to protect students. Presenter:

Jordyn Hope is a survivor, educator, and consultant specializing in Munchausen by Proxy Abuse (MBPA), with a focus on how medical child abuse presents in educational and healthcare settings. Through their practice, Flourishing Wildly, they provide survivor-centered trainings and consultations to multidisciplinary professionals, including school personnel, healthcare providers, and child advocacy teams. Jordyn has facilitated trainings across the United States, reaching more than 2,000 professionals, and has presented at national conferences including APSAC and the San Diego International Conference on Child and Family Maltreatment. Their work integrates lived experience with trauma-informed frameworks to help professionals recognize patterns of concern, respond appropriately, and better support affected students.
