With a panel including a social worker, school nurse and parent

Objectives: After attending this program, participants will be able to

1. Identify three interventions for anxious children that increase the amount of time spent in the classroom.

2. Explain the benefits of using a process-based versus a content-based approach to anxiety. 

3. List three common mistakes made by school staff that strengthen anxiety.

4. Describe the symptoms and treatment modalities for PANS/PANDAS.

Participants successfully completing this program will receive a statement of credit for contact hours. A program Code will be given at the end of the conference and the online evaluation will be accessed at www.neusha.org . Statements of Credit issued after attendance of full program and successful completion of the learning assessment within 2 weeks of the program.

Per NEUSHA Policy, for a day program, there is a $25 cancellation/administrative fee.  Any cancellation must be 5 days PRIOR to the conference.
