Presenter:

Dr. Jonathan Winickoff, MD, MPH, FAAP, is a Board-certified pediatrician at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. He graduated from Yale University, Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health. He did post-doctoral work at Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center and also had a Fellowship in Health Services Research. He serves as a Professor at Harvard Medical School in pediatrics. He has been an ardent researcher in the field of tobacco cessation for children and adolescents for many years. Dr. Winickoff has written many publications on this topic and has recently presented to Congress on behalf of the American Academy of Pediatrics in July 2019 “Examining JUUL’s Role in the Youth Nicotine Epidemic” and speaks nationally and internationally as well. He continues to be instrumental in the development and policy implementation for raising the age of tobacco purchases to 21.
